New Delhi: The corona figure in the country's capital Delhi is rising. In the last 24 hours, while more than 28,000 corona cases have been reported from corona, 277 people have died of corona in a day. The number of corona patients is continuously increasing and people have to wait a long time for cremation at crematorium in view of covid-19.

One day there are so many deaths that even the system in crematorium seems to be declining. While the last rites are also being performed by CNG at some crematorium in Delhi, plans are on to start the arrangements at some crematorium soon. East Delhi Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vikas Anand along with officials of the Public Health and Engineering Department inspected the crematoriums in East Delhi after which he said that due to high pressure, more work is being done at Ghazipur Crematorium than scheduled.

Adequate arrangements are in place for PPE kits, gloves, sanitizers, and masks, etc. at the crematoriums and the funeral system will be started soon by the CNG at Kakadaduma crematorium. All necessary works related to this have been completed by engineering and other departments. At the same time, additional platforms have been set up for funerals at Seemapuri crematorium.
