National capital witnessed sudden change of weather, IMD has predicted that strong winds and rains are expected to hit Delhi and nearby areas of Jhajjar, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Hodal & Palwal in the next few hours.

Earthquake of magnitude 6.2 hit Afghanistan-Tajikistan-Pakistan region: USGS; light tremors were felt in parts of northern India, including Delhi & Kashmir.

Earthquake tremors also felt in Kashmir Valley. An earthquake also shook buildings in Afghan capital Kabul, reported Reuters.

It is still unclear whether these earthquakes occurring within the same time frame also share an epicenter.

The earthquake of magnitude 6.2 shook buildings in Afghanistan’s Kabul and was also felt in Pakistani cities, as Reuters reported.

The earthquake tremors hit at a depth of 96 km (60 miles), about 67 km (42 miles) south of the provincial capital of Khorugh, the United States Geological Survey stated.

Workers left buildings in Kabul, and the Pakistani according media reports the quake was felt in Islamabad, the capital, and the northwestern city of Peshawar.

Tremors were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir, where people rushed out of buildings.There were no immediate reports of casualties.
