Farmers got permission to enter Delhi, will protest at Nirankari Ground

New Delhi: Farmers marching out of Punjab against agricultural laws have been allowed to enter Delhi. After the uproar on Friday, the police has given permission to the farmers to protest at Nirankari Ground in Burari, Delhi. However, the farmers will not be able to visit any area of Delhi during this period. Along with this, the police will remain with the farmers during this period.

There was a lot of ruckus between the farmers and the police on the Indus border on Friday. The farmers pelted stones at the police, after which the police also used water canons, tear gas shells. The farmers were constantly demanding to enter Delhi and urged to go to Jantar Mantar or Ramlila Maidan. The farmers said that there are 5 lakh persons in their batch, in such a situation, they will not go back to Delhi without reaching Delhi. The farmers insisted that they are ready to follow the rules. Meaning, farmers will be able to demonstrate by following masks and social distances even in Nirankari Ground.

Let us tell you that preparations were being made by the Delhi Police to make a temporary jail in Delhi for the farmers. The Delhi government had sought permission from the state government to build a temporary jail at nine stadiums. However, the state government turned it down. On the other hand, the farmers were insisting on entering Delhi and they were not ready to retreat through any route.
