New Delhi: Eight people have been arrested by the Directorate of Intelligence Intelligence (DRI) and gold worth Rs 43 crore has been seized that was smuggled from Myanmar to India at the New Delhi Railway Station. The price of this gold is being estimated up to Rs 43 crore. According to DRI officials, they were investigating an international gold smuggler gang for the past one month.

In this regard, raids were conducted on Rajdhani Express coming from Dibrugarh at New Delhi Railway Station on August 28. Eight people sitting on the train have been arrested in this raid. 504 gold biscuits were seized from the arrested people, whose weight is more than 86 kg. The price of this gold is 43 crores.
