New Delhi: The police have solved the mystery of the murder of a milk trader in the Begumpur area of the capital. During the investigation, the police came to know that Seema, the wife of milk trader Pradeep, got him murdered. For the murder of her husband, Seema gave Rs 4-4 lakh to 5 betel nut killers. According to the police, on February 22, they had received information that the body of a man was lying on the road in a blood-stained condition. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem and started the investigation by registering a case of murder.
During the investigation, the police came to know that Seema, the wife of the deceased Pradeep, had a delicate relationship with a youth named Gaurav Tewatia for the past eight years. Gaurav lived as a tenant in the house of the Tewatia milk merchant. The police also came to know that Gaurav was not present at home at the time Pradeep was killed. The police then checked the call details and detained him from Noida. Taking Seema and Gaurav into custody, the police questioned the two face-to-face.
During the interrogation of the police, Seema and Gaurav told that there was an illicit relationship between the two for 8 years and Pradeep had come to know about this. Pradeep was asking to end the illicit relations in front of Seema. However, Seema and Gaurav were shocked by this and together they made a plan to kill him. Both of them got Pradeep killed by paying Rs 4-4 lakh to 5 betel nut killers. In this case, the police have arrested a total of 7 accused including Seema and Gaurav.
