New Delhi: In the national capital Delhi, the owner and manager were arrested on Saturday for selling liquor without a license. This information was given by the Excise Intelligence Bureau (EIB). Excise officials along with Delhi Police officials raided the city on Friday after being informed that a bar-restaurant in Delhi's South Extension was organizing a high-profile party and serving liquor without a license.

EIB Assistant Police Commissioner Alok Kumar said, "When the accuracy of this information was checked, it turned out to be correct." He added, "With the raiding, the search operation was carried out and it was seen that there was a party going on and alcohol was also being served." During the search operation, several bottles of liquor were also found which have been confiscated by the police.

Giving information, the police said that, "Bottles of liquor have also been seized by the police and a case has been registered at Kotla Mubarakpur police station." He has said that the police is investigating the matter and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
