Lucknow: Delhi Police has arrested two persons Riyasat Khan (35) and Javed (30) after the headless body of a 52-year-old man was found in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. In fact, the deceased Shehzad had taken a loan, which he was killed for not being able to repay. Last Tuesday (July 13, 2021), his family had filed a missing report at Seemapuri police station in Delhi. Three days later, his beheaded body was recovered in Baghpat. Meanwhile, Shehzad's head is yet to be ascertained.
In this case, teams of ATS besides district police, special team were deployed. CCTV footage and call records were examined to trace Shehzad. It revealed that he was last seen walking towards his house on Monday (July 12, 2021). He was a resident of Old Seemapuri in Delhi. The investigating team had come to know of some names after which Riyasat Khan and Javed were arrested after being killed red. The princely state is a neighbour of Shehzad and the two had known each other for many years. Both are drivers by profession. During interrogation, Riyasat said that Shehzad had given a loan of Rs 25,000 to Shehzad when he was unemployed last year.
Riyasat added that when he asked Shehzad for his money back, he not only abused but also threatened to hurt the family. Fed up with his actions, the princely state decided to take revenge on him. According to police, the accused had killed him and dumped the body near a canal in Muradnagar. According to media reports, Shahdara DCP R Sathiyasundaram said, "After receiving the information, nearby police stations were informed about the body and we informed Shehzad's family. They identified the clothes and shoes and identified his body.''
