New Delhi: Delhi Police has caught two vicious men who cheated divorced women by making them a victim on the matrimonial site. The mastermind first used to take women under his guise by talking about marriage, after which he used to cheat lakhs in the name of getting the visa. It has been found in the investigation that the accused Pankaj has made 50 women victims of fraud.
Delhi Police has arrested vicious thugs Purushottam Sharma alias Pankaj Sharma and Kuldeep Singh alias Bobby on the complaint of the woman. Police has informed that Purushottam Sharma alias Pankaj used to meet women by posing as NRI. Actually, a woman resident of Delhi's Paschim Vihar gave a complaint on 2 December at the IGI Airport police station in Delhi. In it, it was said that she is divorced. She came in contact with a person named Pankaj on the matrimonial site, Pankaj offered marriage.
Pankaj had said that he also does the work of getting visas, he has taken many people abroad. Later Pankaj told the woman that he could not marry the woman due to family reasons but could look for a better relationship for the woman in Canada. In the name of sending abroad and getting the visa, Pankaj cheated 22 lakh rupees from the woman but later started hesitantly. Then Pankaj, through his colleague Kuldeep, made a fake visa and handed it over to the woman. But when the woman came to know about the reality, she lodged a complaint with the police. The police started the investigation by registering an FIR and after tracing Pankaj's location reached Amritsar, arrested Pankaj from there.
