Rashtrapati Bhavan security breach; couple arrested in attempt to enter premises

New Delhi: Rashtrapati Bhavan has been invaded by a boy and a girl. The two allegedly drove into Rashtrapati Bhavan late at night. After an interrogation, the two were detained. The police posted at Rashtrapati Bhavan received information that a boy and girl in a vehicle were entering the premises through gate number 35.

The couple was soon apprehended by security officials patrolling Rashtrapati Bhavan. After interrogation, he was arrested. According to reports, the boy was drunk. The boy's name was Shivam, and he was a resident of Sangam Vihar in Delhi, while the woman with him was his friend, it was later found.

The boy's automobile also hit a barricade outside the gate. The two were nabbed after police filed an FIR in the matter. On Wednesday, the couple was brought before Patiala court in Delhi by the south avenue police station. Both of them have been sentenced to prison by the court. The police are looking into it.
