New Delhi: The Shahdara police in Delhi have busted sex rackets in Anand Vihar and Seemapuri. Police have arrested six accused, including four women, in both cases. Police are interrogating the accused and investigating the case. Shahdara DCP R Satya Sundaram said that on Friday, the district's Special Staff Team and Anand Vihar police station had received secret information about a sex racket being operated at a spa in Rishabh Vihar.
The police team planned a raid at the spa centre at Pankaj Plaza. First, a policeman was made a fake customer and sent to the spa centre, where the manager Ramu Prasad was found. He took Rs 500 for a massage. After this, the customer was sent to the cabin, where a woman started demanding one thousand rupees to have a relationship. The customer gave him rs 1,000 and informed the police team by a missed call.
The team outside immediately reached inside the spa and arrested the manager Ramu Prasad and the woman. They also recovered money taken from the alleged customer from them. Investigations revealed that the licence of the spa was in the name of Nitin Gupta. The licence has expired, since which the spa centre is being run illegally. Interrogation revealed that both the accused are residents of Shahdara. Police are looking for the other accused.
