New Delhi: In the annual press conference of Delhi Police, Commissioner Rakesh Asthana has informed that in the year 2021, the Delhi Police Special Cell foiled the plan of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI to destroy Delhi and arrested a total of 13 terrorists, out of which two terrorists Osama and Zeeshan had also gone to Pakistan and underwent terror training.

The Delhi Police Commissioner further said that along with this, the Delhi Police also arrested a Pakistani-origin terrorist who was infiltrating into India in the year 2004 and hiding in various states including Delhi. At the same time, Delhi Police also gave intelligence inputs about the terrorist attacks to other states of the country and on the basis of this information, the police of other states took action. He further said that in the coming years, we have many challenges before us, for which we are fully prepared. On the orders of the Home Minister, we have prepared our action plan, which we are ready to implement.

Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana said cybercrime is a big threat to national security in the times to come. The Cyber Cell (IFSO) of The Delhi Police received 1,15,2013 calls, out of which 24,219 were of financial fraud. Police seized Rs 4.31 crore. Apart from this, in the second web of Corona, when people were in trouble, cybercrime had increased a lot at that time.
