New Delhi: The Delhi Police has also registered a case against AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi for making provocative statements. In fact, the IFSO unit of the Delhi Police had recently registered a case against suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, Naveen Jindal and several others for making provocative remarks. It is being told that the names of Asaduddin Owaisi and Swami Yati Narsinghanand are also included in this FIR. 

It may be recalled that suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma had allegedly made controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad during a TV debate. After that, the controversy escalated. Even many Muslim countries had condemned Nupur Sharma's remarks. Following the controversy, the Delhi Police came down heavily and registered a case against several people for making controversial remarks.
 
The cyber unit of Delhi Police has registered a case against former BJP national spokesperson Nupur Sharma, Naveen Kumar Jindal, Shadab Chauhan, Saba Naqvi, Maulana Mufti Nadeem, Abdul Rahman, Gulzar Ansari, Anil Kumar Meena and Pooja Shakun for allegedly vitiating the atmosphere by making indecent remarks against various religions.
