Delhi Police found connection between Jaish terrorists and deoband, used to run 'Jihad' WhatsApp group

New Delhi: The connection between two terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed arrested from Delhi and Deoband came to light. Inquiries made by the Special Cell of Delhi Police have revealed that many people belonging to Deoband were in contact with both terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed. Now a team of special cell will be sent to Deoband in UP to investigate these helpers.

It is noteworthy that the Special Cell arrested two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists from Sarai Kale Khan bus station in Delhi on 16 October. The two terrorists were identified as Abdul Latif Mir and Mohammad Ashraf, who hail from Kashmir. The police had seized pistols, several disputed literature and illegal items in search of the terrorists.

During interrogation by the special cell, it has been found that both the terrorists were linked to a whatsapp group named 'Jihad' (Jihad). People from Deoband, Delhi and Telangana were also included in this group. The arrested terrorists also came to know that they had stayed in Deoband for a long time. After this revelation from both the terrorists, the police is now preparing to nab their helpers.
