New Delhi: The Delhi Traffic Police has made traffic arrangements across the city to avoid the hassle of traffic jams on New Year's Eve. Special arrangements have been made especially in those areas where programs will be organized on New Year, 31 December 2020. Such as Connaught Place and areas around New Delhi. Simultaneously, the traffic police have also banned the movement of vehicles in some areas.

Going forward, no personal and public transport will enter the area around Connaught Place after 8 pm until the conclusion of the New Year celebrations. No vehicle will be allowed to proceed beyond Connaught Place. No traffic will be allowed in the central, middle or outer circle of Connaught Place except those carrying valid passes.
