New Delhi [India], Jan. 29 (NT): The Budget session of the Parliament is to start on Monday at 11 am with the address of President Ram Nath Kovind.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Parliament for the Budget session and in his press meet, he urged all parties to have active participation for Budget session.

On the heated discussion over triple divorce PM Modi urged all political parties as saying “I request all political parties to make Triple Talaq Bill pass in this Budget session of the Parliament” said PM Narendra Modi

As we all know that, the Triple Talaq Bill already has passed in the Lok Sabha in the last winter session of the Parliament now it will be in main focus in the Upper House of the Parliament.

“We should make use of our system of parliamentary committees and discuss aspects of the Budget. We should think about the well-being of rural India, farmers, Dalits, tribal communities and labourers” said PM Modi

“This Budget Session is important. The world is optimistic about India. Agencies like World Bank & IMF have been giving an optimistic opinion of the country” said PM Modi

The Muslim Women's (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2017 linked to triple talaq, the Codes of Wages Bill, 2017, Rights of Children to Free and Compulsory Education, 2017 are among the imperative bills that will have the focus for discussion and passage.

As per the reports 28 bills will be listed to discuss in the Lok Sabha, while 39 bills are tabled for the Rajya Sabha for the forthcoming session.

Long pending issues together with the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Bill, 2016 and the Surrogacy (Regulation) Bill, 2016, will be argued in the Lower House.
