New Delhi: Rain brings relief to the common people, but for Delhiites, rain brings trouble every time. If it rains heavily, the problem of waterlogging and the problems of potholes are now common in Delhi. For 2 days, Delhi was hit by heavy water, all the claims of the administration and the government were exposed. A direct example of this is the roads in the national capital, Delhi, which were already in a bad shape, but after the rains, it was as if it had become a pond.

The large potholes on the main road leading from Tis Hazari Court to Azad Market and Filmistan are pointing to this misery. Most of the road has developed potholes of two feet each and cracks have also developed at some places. In such a situation, the passing of trains through this route is no less than a challenge. This path is also difficult for pedestrians. Because water has accumulated along the roads so far, the local people are facing a lot of difficulties.

Similar is the case with Ashram Chowk. The road leading to the ashram from Sarita Vihar is still waterlogged and the roads were potholed 7-7 feet wide, causing people to face jams for about one to one and a half hours in the morning and evening hours. At the same time, the rain also worsened the condition of the footpath on the road leading from Preet Vihar in east Delhi to Laxmi Nagar. The pavement built here has now turned into open drains. Rainwater overflows through drains and is on the roads. Neither the road nor the pavement is visible.
