New Delhi: The condition of a 12-year-old girl who was brutally raped in the national capital, remains critical and has been kept on ventilator for the time being. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have given information about this on Friday. The girl was shifted to the Neuro Surgery ICU of the hospital on Thursday night.

According to sources, the girl's condition is critical and she is on the ventilator. She may require neuro surgery, but she has low platelet counts. The health of the child is constantly being monitored, there has been a serious injury to her head. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that he has discussed with the child's parents and doctor over the phone. CM Kejriwal tweeted and wrote that, 'I have spoken on the phone to the doctors and parents of the 12-year-old girl who was a victim of sexual harassment. I went to the hospital yesterday to get information about the situation of the girl child. She is struggling with life and death. The doctors are doing their best. Please keep her in your prayers. Meanwhile, the police has arrested a person.

Let us tell you that on Tuesday, a 33-year-old man named Krishna entered the house of the girl in West Delhi and raped her and attacked her with a sharp weapon on her face and head. On Thursday, a senior AIIMS doctor told that the girl's rectum and intestines were badly injured. Perhaps something was inserted in them, due to which the girl needed immediate treatment and surgery was done as soon as she came here.
