New Delhi: Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids are going on at the bases of Delhi riots accused Tahir Hussain. ED had filed a money laundering case against Tahir Hussain in March. The Delhi Police found in its investigation that about 1.10 crore were used by Tahir Hussain in the riots. Withdrawing money from his company, transferred it to fake companies and money was withdrawn from there and used in Delhi riots.

It is noteworthy that the role of Tahir Hussain in the Delhi riots is doubtful. Hussein and his supporters are also accused of killing IB officer Ankit Sharma. Tahir is believed to have a good hold in the Muslim community. Earlier in the case of the Delhi riots, there was news that the Delhi High Court will hear the case in July in the case of the cancellation of the bail of the capital school owner Faisal Farooqui.

Delhi Police had filed an application in the Delhi High Court to quash the bail granted to Faisal Farooqui, the owner of the capital school arrested in the riot cases in North East Delhi. The lower court had granted bail to Faisal Farooqui but he is still in jail. Farooqui's lawyer has said that four weeks' time is required for a reply.
