New Delhi: A father continued to sexually abuse his own daughter in Jaitpur area of South Delhi. The daughter remained silent for a few days, but one day the daughter showed courage and reached the police with her mother. In this case, Additional Sessions Judge Neera Bharihok of Poxo Court Saket (South East) has on Friday convicted the accused and convicted of rape and sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment. The court has also fined him one and a half thousand rupees.

According to the information received, the victim lives in Jaitpur area with her parents and brother. In the complaint filed in Jaitpur police station in the year 2014, he said that his father often touches him in a wrong way. One day the father raped her in the night. Hearing the scream of the innocent, her mother woke up and opposed the evil father. On telling this to anyone, he threatened to kill the mother-daughter and sexually abused the daughter. Eventually, one day the patience of mother and daughter broke, and they reached the police.

Based on the complaint given by the victim, the police registered a case under Poxo. The testimony of the accused's elderly father could not save him either. The court convicted the father of rape and sentenced him to 10 years. At the same time, he has been sentenced to one and a half years in the case of threatening to kill the mother-daughter. Both decorations will run concurrently.
