Schools to close again due to 'Omicron' threat!

New Delhi: Schools can be closed once again if corona cases continue to rise in Delhi. The administration has directed that if the corona positivity rate exceeds 0.5% for 2 consecutive days, the Corona Safety Rules will be introduced immediately under which schools and colleges will be closed. State that the corona positivity rate in the capital has been recorded at 0.43% on Saturday, December 25. In such a situation, schools may soon be locked again if infection cases are not brought under control.

The government will impose a ban on the rate of corona infection, data of active patients, and statistics of admitted patients in hospitals. However, according to information, schools for students from class 1 to 5 in Delhi were scheduled to open tomorrow, December 27, 2021. There is still a doubt whether the junior class will start tomorrow or will have to wait longer.

Schools for senior schools in Delhi were open since December 18. Schools were closed first due to corona and then air pollution. Now the crisis of corona infection is on the rise again in view of which instructions to close schools again may be issued soon. As the positivity rate increases in Delhi, schools will be closed and other restrictions like gyms, swimming pools, theatres etc. will also be put back.
