New Delhi: A new chapter in the Delhi Board curriculum begins today. From today, the Delhi government is going to add a chapter of patriotism to the syllabus to inculcate patriotism among children. Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal government has been implementing the syllabus since September 28, the birth anniversary of freedom fighter and great revolutionary Bhagat Singh. The syllabus is being introduced in every class from nursery to class 12 in all government schools in Delhi.

Students will also be given 5 minutes of attention before studying patriotic courses applicable in schools. Then the chapter will begin. It may be mentioned that this course is being launched in Delhi with the objective of inculcating a sense of patriotism among children, inculcating respect for the Constitution and its respect.

Curriculum to be implemented from nursery to 12th: Delhi's Kejriwal government is implementing patriotic courses in classes from nursery to 12th standard. The course will start from the time classes start running in schools in Delhi. That is, now schools in Delhi will have a class of patriotism from nursery to nursery to class 8. On the other hand, classes from 9th to 12th will have two periods a week.

What will be included in the curriculum: During the Patriotic course, teachers and students will remember the great freedom fighters of the country and their splendid sacrifices. His gratitude for the country, freedom fighters and any five people he considers patriots, will take a pledge to respect them. At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal says about the curriculum that the students will be told stories about freedom and the pride of the nation. Children will be made aware of their responsibilities and duties towards the nation.
