New Delhi: Delhi has seen an improvement in air quality on Wednesday.  According to reports, Delhi's air has moved from the 'extremely poor' category to the 'bad' category with the Air Quality Index 235. Safar (System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research) forecasts that air quality (AQI) is going to improve for the next 4 days. After which the wind will worsen to the highest level in the bad category.

Air quality has improved due to improvement in air speed mixing height and ventilation index. Air improvement in this episode is going to continue till December 11. After which the health of the air may also get a little worse. On the other hand, the pollutants will not spread completely due to mercury falling in the coming days. It is also going to have an impact on the quality of Delhi.

It was reported here last Sunday that the Air Quality Index was at the 305 mark, a very poor low, but last Monday again the Air Quality Index stood at 322 points on Monday, or 17 points between 24 hours. It is estimated that the wind speed is likely to be generally up to 4 kmph between the next three days. This will slow down the dispersion of pollutantparticles and also increase pollution levels due to cold and light fog in the morning.
