New Delhi: Criminals in the country's capital Delhi have become so high that crooks are no longer afraid to enter their homes and commit criminal acts. The latest case has come to light from southeast Delhi where a 16-year-old girl was allegedly strangled to death in her own house in the Sarita Vihar area.
According to police information, the deceased teenager has been identified as Rukhsar. Rukhsar's mother has accused her son of carrying out the murder. The victim's mother said Rukhsar's body was lying on the cot inside the house and her throat was slit. Police have informed that Rukhsar's mother works as a domestic helper and the trio had been living together since she adopted the accused Shan Mohammad as her son about 10 years ago.
Rukhsar's mother told police that 32-year-old Shan Mohammad was addicted to alcohol and used to quarrel with her and Rukhsar every day. Southeast Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police Isha Pandey has informed that a case of murder has been registered against Shan Mohammad under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
