New Delhi: On Monday, a teacher of a government school in West Delhi's Nangloi area expelled a student for low attendance, which filled student with anger after that in a move to take revenge, two students of class 12th stabbed their teacher in front of their classmates.

As per the reports, teacher is going through treatment at Balaji Action Hospital and his condition is stated to be critical now. The incident happened at 5 pm when the students were writing their exam at the Government Senior Secondary School.

According to police officer, “Two boys stabbed Mukesh Kumar thrice in front of the entire class, after which the two boys fled”.

"One of the accused was expelled for low attendance. He went to the school to speak with Kumar. During the talk, the boy and his friend, who was writing the exam, reportedly lost their temper, and with full of temper, stabbed the teacher. One of the accused is 18 years old while the other will turn 18 in two months." police said.

A case has been registered with the charges of attempt to murder against the duo at the Nangloi Police Station.
