NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court will hear the case in the Unnao rape case on Monday. Earlier in the last hearing, the court had issued a production warrant against Kuldeep Singh Sengar, the main accused in the case and the other accused Shashi Singh. The court had asked the two accused to appear before the court at 12:30 p.m. on August 5. In fact, after the victim was seriously injured in a road accident after being charged with rape, Dabang MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar has been screwed.

After his ouster from the BJP, the district administration is now taking strict action against Sengar. Last Friday, the Supreme Court had issued directions to transfer the uncle of the victim in Rae Bareli jail to Tihar jail in connection with the murder attempt. The court was told that the girl's mother did not want the victim to shift to Delhi for treatment. The victim is currently undergoing treatment at Eking George Medical College, Lucknow. The Central government had told the court that the CRPF was deployed to protect the victim and the family.

On the other hand, the UP government had told the court that the victim has been given an interim compensation of 25 lakh rupees. The court had instructed the media not to reveal the identity of the victim while reporting the Unnao case. In fact, the court had sought the opinion of the family on the recruitment of the victim to AIIMS. The victim's mother refused.
