New Delhi: Corona continues to wreak havoc in the country and the world at this time. Meanwhile, everyone is being asked to wear masks and use sanitizer. People in some cities including Delhi are not following these rules and are roaming without wearing masks. Delhi Traffic Police was invoicing the people leaving without masks on the roads till now but this is not going to happen now.

According to recently received information, the traffic police of Delhi will be able to take action only on violation of traffic rules but they will not be able to deduct any challan for not wearing masks. According to a media report, all the divisions of Delhi Police will no longer be able to take action on Covid-19 rule violation, because now a special team will be present in every police station of Delhi for this. This special team will only act on the violation of Corona rules.

In the guidelines issued from Delhi Police Headquarters, it has been said that "In every police station of Delhi, a special team will take action against violations of Corona rules such as not wearing masks, not following social distancing." Talking about this, a Delhi Police officer said that among the people who have been challaned in Delhi, there are a large number of people who can afford the mask. Despite this, they leave without a mask in public places. Apart from this, he also said, "These people have no reason for not wearing a mask".
