New Delhi: Hearing is being held in the High Court for the online examination of 2 lakh 70 thousand students of Delhi University (DU) final year. In the hearing, Delhi University said that the university is ready to conduct an online exam from 10 August. The court has directed DU to file a new affidavit. The High Court has directed Delhi University to issue a notification in this regard.
DU said in court that the examinations will be completed in September and then Delhi University will declare the results by 30 November. On this, the court said that it should not take so long for results to come. The High Court said that the exams are being held in online mode in September, so the result should also come by the end of September so that students do not have problems in getting admission for further studies ahead of time.
On 10 July, Delhi University canceled the examination due to some technical shortcomings. In the last hearing, the Delhi High Court had ordered DU to file all the information related to university examinations in the court by 13 July. On July 14, the court will hear the case again.
