New Delhi: The lockdown relaxation was announced in Delhi from today. Thr metro will run in Delhi with 50 per cent capacity and markets and malls will open on odd-even basis from today. In addition, markets and malls can be opened on odd-even basis from 10 am to 8 pm. At the same time, government and private offices are allowed to reopen with 50 per cent of the employees.

In fact, last Saturday, the Delhi Government informed that gyms, spas, salons, bars, restaurants will remain closed in the national capital in view of the current Covid-19 situation. In addition, the government had said that a decision on opening gyms, spas, salons etc. Delhi Metro will now run with 50 per cent capacity from today. Tell you that the Metro will operate at intervals of five to fifteen minutes.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said last Saturday that "the number of trains in service will be gradually increased. In order to ensure that 50% of passengers travel within social distance and trains, people are advised to take extra time for their daily movement and also behave appropriately while waiting for their turn to enter outside the stations.''

On the other hand, South-East Delhi District Collector Vishwaendra said, "50 teams have been formed for vigilance purposes. 10 or more teams will be deployed at major locations like Lajpat Nagar Market as there is a greater possibility of crowd gathering at such places."
