New Delhi: The violence started on the streets of Delhi in the name of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is not yet stopped. In the last 3 days, there have been incidents of violence in many areas of the national capital, in which 18 people have died so far. On Wednesday morning too, there was a fierce demonstration in the Gokulpuri area of Delhi, where some miscreants set a shop on fire.

To control the current situation of Delhi, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval has been given an open exemption. Ajit Doval will inform PM Narendra Modi and the Cabinet about the Delhi violence in a while from now. Ajit also visited several areas of Delhi on Tuesday evening. A shop in the scrap market was set on fire in the Gokulpuri area of Delhi on Wednesday morning. Witnesses say that some people came here and escaped by setting fire. Miscreants have burnt shop number 15 of the scrap market.

The number of people killed in Delhi violence has increased. According to the data released by Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital on Wednesday morning, 18 people have died in the Delhi violence so far. A police constable has also been martyred in this violence. The hospital has said in its statement that four dead people have been brought to the hospital on Wednesday morning.
