New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department on Wednesday issued an orange alert for Delhi. Earlier on Tuesday, the MET department had issued a yellow alert for rain in the national capital. At present, the Met department has issued an orange alert warning of very bad weather. According to the MET department, people are likely to face waterlogging as well as traffic jams due to the highest rainfall in Delhi today.

The same MET department has predicted a normal cloudy sky in some parts of Delhi on Wednesday with light rain and thundershowers. According to the MET department, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is around 25 degrees Celsius.

The MET department has issued a yellow alert for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday amid the possibility of the highest rainfall in the capital Delhi on Wednesday. The MET department has issued a 'green' alert on Friday. State that the Meteorological Department uses four types of colours as codes. In which green means that all is well and a yellow alert is given for bad weather. On the other hand, an 'Orange' alert is issued as a warning of very bad weather with the possibility of closure of roads and drains and impact of traffic system with disruption in power supply.
