New Delhi: The heat has started showing its color, not even half of April has passed and hotness has made to fee the scorching heat of May-June. Meanwhile, the MET department has said that the capital Delhi is likely to get intense heat for the next three days. The maximum temperature may reach 40 degrees celsius during this period. The maximum temperature in the capital was recorded three degrees above normal on Monday.
In Delhi, the bright sun has been shining since Monday morning. As the day progressed, the sun also intensified. Delhi's Safdarjung Meteorological Centre recorded a day's maximum temperature of 39.2 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal. However, the minimum temperature was 18.3 degrees Celsius which is three degrees below normal.
Delhi's sports complex area had the highest heatwave. The maximum temperature was recorded at 41.4 degrees Celsius. The MET department said that there will be intense heat for the next three days. The maximum temperature can go up to 40 degrees celsius during this period. However, the impact of western disturbances may then lead to a change in the weather in the capital.
