The flyover being built on the Rao Tula Ram Marg (RTR) is ready. With the introduction of vehicular traffic, it will make it easier to reach domestic and international airports from South and East Delhi and Noida. An official said, there are some minor hurdles like installation of road indicator boards and safety tests in the start of traffic on this flyover. The uniquely designed 2.7 km long flyover will soon be opened to the public. The flyover is part of a larger plan to make the busy areas Vasant Vihar, South Campus and Motibagh Corridor free from traffic jams.

The second part of the project is the work of connecting the South Campus at Chanakyapuri through the underpass from San Martin Road. Its major errors have been rectified, so the task is likely to be completed by the end of this year. The construction of RTR flyover and underpass started in November, 2014 and was scheduled to be completed by November, 2016.
