New Delhi: Corona continues to wreak havoc in the country. Meanwhile, the father of Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain passed away on Sunday after being infected with corona. CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted his tributes to him. Kejriwal tweeted, "Our Health Minister Satyendra Jain lost his father due to corona today. Very sad. Satyendra himself has been working round the clock for the people of Delhi. May God give peace to his soul and my heartfelt condolences to the family.''

It may be recalled that on Saturday, the wife of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP from Delhi Narayan Das Gupta (ND Gupta) also passed away after being hit by corona infection. Both ND Gupta and his wife were infected with corona. Both were undergoing treatment at the hospital and had received their report two days ago.

Delhi has registered 25,219 new cases of coronavirus infection on Saturday, while the highest number of 412 covid-19 patients succumbed in a single day. The transition rate in the capital has gone up to 31.61 percent. This information was given in a bulletin issued by the Delhi Health Department.
