In fact, the East Delhi Municipal Corporation's encroachment removal squad had reached Khichdipur village and Trilokpuri area along with the police force. Regional MLA Kuldeep Kumar had reached there with his supporters. He protested and said that the corporation is destroying the houses, shops and sticks of the people without giving any notice. On protesting, the police force has taken the protest into custody. When contacted on mobile phone in police custody in Trilokpuri police station, MLA Kuldeep says that BJP is angry with the corporation and is atrocities on the poor.
