Jammu: At least 15 persons were injured in a road accident in Udhampur city of Jammu and Kashmir. All the injured were on board the minibus which was the victim of the accident. All these were returning from the hill stations Patnitop to Katra. All the injured have been admitted to a hospital close to Chenani for treatment, where their condition is reported to be out of danger.
As per the information received, 15 devotees went to the Patnitop after the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. The mini-bus was gunned down in Udhampur city while returning to Katra with these devotees from Patnitop. It is said that after the darshan of Vaishno Devi, these devotees visited the hill station Patnitop. The mini bus was carrying them and returning to Katra from Patnitop. The mini bus had arrived in the city of Udham Singh Nagar to succumb to the incident.
The mini bus fell into a 15 feet deep ditch. All the 15 devotees on the bus have suffered injuries in the incident. All the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Chenani for treatment. The injured are undergoing treatment at Chenani Hospital. The situation of all is reported to be out of danger. As per information, all the injured are residents of Rohini in Delhi. All these mata Vaishno Devi from Delhi came to Jammu and Kashmir. After the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi, all these hill stations were visiting Patnitop. All the passengers were coming back from Patnitop.
