We all are excited for Ganesh Chaturthi, Ganesh Chaturthi celebrates birth of Lord Ganesha. Puja rituals are an important part of Hindu festivals. Here is a list of dos and don'ts which you must keep in mind while performing Ganesh Chaturthi Puja. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated for 10 days and it is believed that during this time Lord Ganesha arrives on earth with his mother, Goddess Parvati, and showers his blessings on the people.
Huge processions are held carrying a statue of Lord Ganesha on this day. People worship Lord Ganesha in their homes, temples and pandals.  We offers different Prasad to Lord Ganesh each day. Ganeshji loves eating Besan Laddu and Modak as per the stories. Try Chocolate modak in one of the day. It  is a delightful sweet that chocolate lovers and kids will like. The recipe is made with chocolate chips. Its is very easy you can make it with only 5 ingredients.
Ingredients

·         1/3 cup milk

·         3/4 cup chocolate chips

·         1/2 cup chopped pistachios

·         1/3 cup condensed milk

·         1 1/2 cup graham cracker crust

 

Step by Step Recipe

Take a saucepan and add milk, chocolate chips and condensed milk.

Keep light to medium flame. After a while, the chocolate will start melting and the mixture will turn out to be smooth and shiny.

Add graham cracker crust to the mixture and stir.

After being cooked half-way through, add chopped pistachios and mix well. The result will be a sticky dough. Keep it aside to cool.

Grease the modak moulds with a little refined oil and stuff the moulds with a small portion from the sticky chocolatey dough.

After a while open the moulds and you are ready with your chocolate modaks that are ready to be served to Lord Ganesha.
