A few weeks ago, Piaggio India announced the launch of the new Aprilia RS660, Aprilia RSV4, Tuono 660, and Tuono V4 bikes in India. The Aprilia RSV4 is priced at 23.69 lakh, while the all-new Aprilia RS 660 is priced at 13.39 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). The firm has already begun shipping the RS 660 bike, which will be accessible at all of its Motoplex stores across the country.

Alisha Abdullah, a female racer, has become the happy owner of the country's first RS660 unit. Abdullah announced the news on her Instagram account. The new RS660 sportsbike is powered by a 659cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree firing sequence. This engine is capable of producing 100bhp of maximum power at 10,500rpm, as well as 67Nm of maximum torque at 8,500rpm.

A six-axis IMU with three-level cornering ABS, traction control, adjustable wheelie control, and engine brake control are among the motorcycle's contemporary electronic features and rider aids. There are additional riding modes, a cruise control system, and a bidirectional quickshifter included.

The Honda CBR650R, Yamaha YZF-R7, and the forthcoming Kawasaki Ninja 700R are also direct competitors. The latter is said to be in the process. The bike comes in three colour variants for the worldwide market: Lava Red, Black Apex, and Acid Gold.
