Mumbai: The second wave of corona virus in India has now subsided, but the threat still continues. As per the recent information, a new Delta Plus variant of corona virus has been found in three districts of Maharashtra. This is shocking news. Under the information received, this new form of corona virus is shown only after mutation in delta variant (B.1.617.2). Reports suggest that samples of the new variant are currently found in Ratnagiri, Navi Mumbai and Palghar. This new Delta Plus variant has been categorized as 'Variant of Interest'.

This means that it will be used to find out how it is changing its appearance. An expert says the Delta Plus variant will be responsible if the third wave of corona virus comes into the country. On the other hand, it has also been claimed by the expert that the Delta Plus variant can lead to active cases up to about 10 lakh, and 10 per cent of it is estimated to be children. The new variant is said to be dodging the immune system as well. According to reports, corona virus cases are now decreasing in maharashtra, the country's most affected state. In fact, the Union Health Ministry says that 58419 new cases of corona virus have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours and 87619 cases have been cured in a day.

With this, the death toll has gone up to 3,86,713 after 1576 people died in a day. Let me tell you that the total number of infected in the country is 2,98,81,965 and the number of people who have overtaken the corona virus has gone up to 2,87,66,009. At the same time, 729243 patients are currently active in the country who are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.
