Patna: Public Rights Party national president Pappu Yadav has demanded a CBI probe into the murder of Shakti Malik, former state secretary of SC-ST cell of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He said the RJD leader had accused him of asking for money before his death. Therefore, it should be examined under the supervision of a retired High Court judge.
He further said that public representatives are being killed in the state one after another. The government is silent on it. Leaders protect themselves, but they are not able to protect the people. Pappu Yadav has accused the BJP and JD (U) of doing politics over the issue. He also urged the parties not to do politics in the name of Dalits. He also demanded the government to give a job to the family of the deceased and ensure safety to the family.
Pappu Yadav also accused the parties of selling tickets in the assembly elections and demanded action from the Election Commission. Regarding Lok Janshakti Party (LOJPA) national president Chirag Paswan, Pappu Yadav said Chirag Paswan is a good leader, we wish him to do a better job.
