The year 2016 is proved blunder for film business. 203 films have remarked as flops from total release of 216. Over this, demonetization killed the remaining movies but good news for Aamir Khan's Dangal.

After demonetization, it is quite big for film to even reach to such numbers of collection. A trade analyst had said, "The film is looking amazing and the buzz and the response has been phenomenal. It's high on content hence it will definitely work. The first day business will land up at somewhere over Rs 30 crore."

On competition with Sultan? "No, not really. But you never know. If the night and late night shows go in packed numbers, it might have a chance to challenge the RS 36 crore plus target of Sultan. But as of now, even if it doesn't cross that figure, Dangal will have a HUGE opening day figure for sure."
