According to the police, the woman was under mental stress due to the lockdown. It has been reported that Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone I) Sankalp Sharma told that, "35-year-old Bhagwati Bisht, who lives in the F-Block of Space Golf View Second Society located in Sector-78 of Police Sector Sector-49, jumped from the 17th floor of her society and committed suicide."
