Mumbai: Amidstthe ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra, the deputy speaker has expressed apprehension that the signature on rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde's letter may be fake. According to sources, the signatures of the MLAs in the Eknath Shinde letter may be forged, it is suspected that the Maharashtra Deputy Speaker may be forged.  

In fact, it is being called a pressure tactic so that the Shinde Group can be pressured to take legal action. The deputy speaker belongs to the NCP, in such a way that the ball is currently in the NCP's court. According to reports, it is being speculated that an important meeting is being held between Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and NCP chief Sharad Pawar in this regard. In fact, on Thursday, Eknath Shinde wrote a letter to the Governor of Maharashtra, the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and the Legislature Secretary. In it, he has described himself as the leader of the legislature party. It has also been reported that Bharat Gogawale has been appointed as the Chief Whip. His letter has been signed by 37 Shiv Sena MLAs.  

A copy of the letter was sent to deputy speaker Narhari Jirwal, governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and legislative council secretary Rajendra Bhagwat. Now, deputy speaker Narhari Jirwal has expressed apprehension that the MLAs may have fake signatures on the letter. Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena has also talked about taking legal steps against the 12 rebel MLAs. Eknath Shinde had earlier claimed that the group led by him was the real Shiv Sena and that he and his supporters could not be intimidated by the threats of disqualification.
