Those who dare to imagine the impossible are the ones who break all the human limitations and that's what defines greatness. CEO and founder of Designer Dream Collection Anjali Phougat is one such example. She started working on her collection months back and used non-toxic dyes to help save nature and she used recycled tulle fabric to create the runway looks. Anjali believes in empowering others and supports diversity and inclusion and her designs represent her connection to the motherland India.
Anjali Phougat started her journey to new york to present her designs on the NYFW runway with Padma Shri awardee Sonu Nigam's best wishes on her side. According to Anjali, "It was such a great feeling to be surrounded by wonderful people and such down to earth talented people. Sonu Nigam is the kindest person and apart from his extremely busy schedule, he made sure to send his best wishes to me and all my team and made them feel extra special."
Anjali was the opening designer for the show and Actress Indrani Devaluri opened the show with a Bharatanatyam performance and the dance was received very well by the audience. Anjali styled Indrani with her beautiful traditional pearls and meenakari gold jewellery for the show. Anjali is really proud to present and support Indian culture and spread awareness about Indian culture and traditional values on international platform so our kids feel included and feel proud of our culture and embrace it.
Anjali styled many models in Indian Lehnga and saree and decided to wear the saree on the show because she feels Indian saree is not just six yards of fabric, it represents our culture, roots and where we come from and feel really proud to be Indian.
The show was opened by Chaitanya Poloju in a mesmerizing white western bridal gown and show stopper Maliyah Lorenzo wore a breathtaking Indian red bridal gown embellished with roses. Anjali

30 international models graced her show and contributed to making the show super successful, show choreographer Pretty Kaur walked as a model and she worked on arranging the models' sequence in colour theme and red colour was the main colour of the show because February is the month of love and the red colour represents love and unity. all the models were amazing on the show and many age groups and different shapes and sizes.
Miss Universe 2022 top 10 finalist Chantel O'brian wore an amazing deep wine velvet heavy gold embellished gown whereas Miss India USA 2022 Shalini Sharad Maadan wore an amazing fuchsia and blue tulle gown. Beautiful Miss Bharat USA 2021 Meenal Manikandan looked fabulous in a purple evening gown with a trail.
Miss Bharat Ohio Tina Rathod, Dr Ankita Singh, Meerya Shema, Varsha Paul wore red dresses paired with Indian jewels, Ashley Haroon, Angel Haroon, Neha Devatha and Ashley Mccoubrey debuted their modelling career with the DDC show. Plus Size model Karina Marie, Riitika Malik, Kaanya Oberoi, Aparna Kakirde and Miss Teen Earth Jocelyn Min and Miss Rhode Island earth 2021 Mikala Joy wore gold and Pink outfits. Mrs Asia World 2021 Payal Mandewalker, Miss Bharat California 2021, and Miss South Asia World 2020 Mounika Siriguppi, Mrs India USA DC Ajitha Shrivastava, Laalithya Bondili, Miss California Earth USA Jocelyn Mendez and Top 10 Miss Grand USA Moazmah gill from Ohio wore pink, blue and purple dresses, Indian American model Stuti Bhat and Miss Earth USA 2021 Tyler Forbes wore Black and Red lehenga and saree.

The choreography department was handled by Pretty Kaur D who is Miss India USA titleholder for 2019 to 2021 and originally based in California
The photography department for the DDC show was exclusively covered by Nitin Gohil who is based in Ohio and travelled to New York and provided great support to the team during the show
Videography was exclusively covered by Veera Kiran, Bathala and VIP pageantry team
The makeup department was handled by Shraddha Malandkar, Arunita Ghosh and Swarna Kamal and the hair department was handled by the VIP NYFW team.
