Indian film actor Sathyaraj is celebrating his birthday today. Sathyaraj was born on October 3, 1954. Sathyaraj is a Tamil film actor and media personality from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Being a Tamil activist and politically influential, he has starred in more than 100 films and has shown the essence of his act in action, drama to comic films.

In 2007, he played the award-winning role of Periyar E V Ramasami in the Tamil Nadu government-sponsored film Periyar. In 2007, he produced a film named after him and was starred by his son Sibiraj in the film. He also directed a film called Viladhi Vilen, in which he himself had three different roles. The actress of the film was Nagma. 

Sathyaraj completed his primary school education in Tamil from st. Mary's Convent, Coimbatore. He completed his education from Sabarban High School in Coimbatore Ramnagar, up to tenth.
