Despite a good start of the innings, Indian team couldn't reach the target set by English team in the first test match of India-England test series being played in Rajkot.

Batting first after winning the toss, English team has scored 537 losing all their wickets. 3 English batsman has scored the century. In response, India started well with centuries from the opening and number 3 batsman but the middle order crumbled and India could reach to 488 till their last wicket fall trailing by 49 runs.

From the Indian side, Murali Vijay was the top scorer with 126 runs while from the bowling side Adil Rashid took 4 wickets. Indian skipper Virat Kohli being out in an unpleasant way on the personal score of 40.

Today is the 4th day of the test match hence seeing the conditions the match is almost draw giving very less opportunity to take wickets. Now English team will again come to bat to give target ahead of their first inning lead of 49 runs.
