Corona cases reduced as sampling increases in Dehradun for the three consecutive days

There has been some relief over new cases in Doon amidst the ever increasing cases of covid. Less than 2,500 cases have been reported daily in the last three days. More than 9,000 people have been sampled on Tuesday, with more than 2,000 people confirmed infection. A total of 59 people have lost their lives in the district during the last 24 hours.

A total of 10596 samples were tested on May 7, out of which 3979 people were positive. 9843 cases have been tested on May 8, in which 3430 infections were confirmed. On May 9, only 5435 cases were tested and 2419 new cases were reported. On an average, the number of infected people remained very high on this day as well. On the other hand, there was a sharp decline in cases on 10th May.

8421 cases were tested on Monday, out of which corona was confirmed in 1857. This was the lowest number of infected people in a day during the last one week. A total of 9248 samples were tested on Tuesday, out of which 2201 people were diagnosed with infection.
