Cases of destruction are constantly coming out due to heavy rain followed by landslides. There are many areas in which the inhabited houses are under threat. Due to heavy rain life has been disturbed in many areas.

A dozen roads have been closed due to debris. Rivers are in spate, in Dhapa village of Munsiyari District, there has been a crisis on 08 houses as the boulder fell. These families have been shifted to the cooperative building of the village. Two people were injured when a stone fell on a jeep in Dharchula. In Madkot, a lodge is in danger due to the collapse of the security wall built on the banks of the Gori river. People are scared due to the rise of the Gori river in Bhadeli. In the year 2013, the Gori river has caused great destruction in this area.

According to the information received, this monsoon season in Pithoragarh has also brought destruction. The villagers have not yet emerged from the devastation that cloud burst in Dharchula again due to which there has been an atmosphere of panic among the people. On the other hand, Congress attacked the state government on the pretext of disaster. People's houses are being evacuated in Pithoragarh, and they are being taken to safe places.
