Bangladesh is facing the devastation of floods amidst the Corona epidemic. At least 54 people have died in the flood. There are 24 lakh people affected by the floods in the country. The United Nations said that the worst flood situation in the country since 1988.

According to the report of the news agency, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres spokesman Stephen Dujarric said on Tuesday that 56,000 people have been displaced by the floods. These people have been kept at various shelter places. He said that about 54 people have been died due to floods.

He told that the United Nations is eyeing this natural disaster of Bangladesh. In the affected area, the UN team is working to provide relief material to the public. The Spokesperson says that the United Nations Central Emergency Fund has assisted US $ 5.2 million to help the people affected by the recent floods.
