Reckitt Benckiser Health, under its flagship Dettol ‘Banega Swasth India’ in partnership with Primus Partners, launched a unique life skills program for kids of age group 10-19, The Birds and Bees Talk. This program will be implemented across the Arunachal Pradesh Government and Recognized Private schools to ensure maximum reach and benefits. The chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Prema Khandu said Banega SwasthIndia is one of its kinds, life skill training program for adolescent children. He said felt heart warmed when organizations are taking initiative in the growth of young minds. This program will help in working towards the Government goal to transform the lives of people in India.

The state Government said it is the duty of the government to take education to the nook and corner of the state like policies and reforms. The state has set an example by kick starting this program in NE as AP is the educational hub in North-East region. Ravi Bhatnagar, Director External Affairs and Partnerships, Reckitt Benckiser Health AMESA said, they are proud and honored to launch the program with AP government where educational reforms are at its high. Talking about the program, he said, education is away to reform the society and empowerment of children can be achieved.  The child needs not only the curriculum built also the life skills ensuring every adolescent grow up in a protected environment.

Cultivating STEM based career for Girl Children by Department of Science and Technology

Adolescent is a transition from childhood to adulthood, children are unprepared for the physical, emotional and social changes they go through. This program aims in increasing knowledge and improving their attitudes for better health outcomes. Trained Teachers will be provided with teaching models and lessons. It is a 27-hour lesson and can be taught for a whole year. The program aims in developing key skills like critical thinking, decision-making and analytics, amongst children. The prime focus is to impart knowledge and helping students to understand the change.  In the presence of the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Prema Khandu, Minister of Education, aba Tedir, Chief Secretary, Naresh Kumar and the Secretary Education Niharika Rai a Letter of Intent (LoI) for the program has been signed.
