Warangal: The ruling TRS is leaving no stone unturned to win the Huzurabad assembly constituency by-election to be held on October 30. In this effort, the government is spending crores of rupees for development works in the constituency under various heads. Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (CUDA) had also started development works with an outlay of Rs 10 crore in Kamalapur mandal of Huzurabad assembly constituency to woo voters.

The government had already earmarked over Rs 2,500 crore for the constituency. Before the Model Code of Conduct came into force, works like central lighting, junctions and roads etc. were started in Kamlapur division. It may be mentioned here that it was upgraded as Greater Warangal by merging 42 surrounding villages into Warangal Municipal Corporation.

The TRS government is using money in Huzurabad constituency alone to gain political mileage, Judson said, adding that the Dalit Bandhu scheme was also a conspiracy to deceive the people. He said that development has stalled in Warangal as all MLAs are working for the victory of TRS candidate Gelu Srinivas Yadav in Huzurabad bypoll.
